Propeller is a New Orleans-based 501c3 nonprofit that grows and supports entrepreneurs to tackle social and environmental disparities. Our strategy is to build a critical mass of small business in nonprofits working towards more equitable outcomes in food, water, health, and education.

Since 2009, Propeller has supported 160 entrepreneurs to create 360 jobs and generate over $85 million in external revenue and financing.

Top Box Foods is a community-based non-profit with a simple purpose: to offer a variety of delicious and healthy boxes of food at affordable prices.

Top Box Foods is a year-round resource for affordable, nutritious fresh fruit, vegetables, and proteins for anyone and everyone who want to bring healthy food home, and help their neighbors do the same.  As a non-profit community-based organization, Top Box Foods focuses its work in food deserts to increase access to healthy and affordable food with the help of great neighborhood partners, the crucial involvement of volunteers, and generous corporate sponsors.

Liberty's Kitchen

Liberty’s Kitchen provides New Orleans young people with pathways to create and achieve their vision of success through workforce training, leadership development, and support of healthy lifestyles.

Since 2008, Liberty's Kitchen has trained over 650 young adults in work readiness and life skills training and served over 2 million school meals. As it enters its second decade of service, Liberty's Kitchen is excited to contribute its food access experience and resources to the Healthy Corner Store Collaborative. It is particularly proud of LK alumna Andryan Lagarde, the Good 2 Go project's Community Liaison!
